The story of Bulova watches begins in a small jewelry store in New York City which was opened by Joseph Bulova in 1875.  This was the beginning of the successful company that produced and manufactured watches and clocks.  Since 1911, Bulova has been producing boudoir and desk clocks as well as pocket watches.  The company was also one of the first to create a line of jeweled wristwatches for men in 1919.

Bulova watches are made of the finest materials using high quality and precision craftsmanship.  The designers and engineers are dedicated to the latest technology in watchmaking in order to produce high quality watches.  Every Bulova watch is anti-magnetic, scratch-resistant and shock-resistant.  There are many collections offered by Bulova including the Marine Star Collection, Bulova diamond watches, and Bulova 14 Karat gold watches.

Bulova is a significant name when it comes to watchmaking as it is the first company to manufacture fine watches in America in large numbers.  After the success of men’s jeweled watches, Bulova began producing wristwatches for the ladies as well as the first line of diamond watches.  The company made history when the first radio commercials began to run on Bulova time.  These commercials were broadcasted nationally and soon everyone was following Bulova time.

Not only did the company become successful with wristwatches, but it also began to produce clock radios for the first time.  Much of the success was due to their business mindset with million-dollar advertising campaigns as well as TV commercials.  From a humble beginning, Bulova was able to create a household brand of itself.

Bulova was committed to producing timekeeping pieces for the military during World War II.  They put their craftsmanship and inventiveness to use and began producing precision military equipment as well.  There was an actual school dedicated to watchmaking and it was called the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking. Here are some great deals on eBay.
